Q: How secure is my information?
A: Extremely! We only use reputable software and systems, so your financial information is always safe with bank-level security. And it’s stored online, not on your computer. So if a computer is stolen (or dies!), you won’t lose your data. It’s all safely and securely stored online and backed up in several locations.
Q: Do I have to move accountants?
A: No, your accountant will continue to prepare your income tax returns at year end.
Q: I don’t have an accountant. Is that a problem?
A: No, not at all! We can refer you to chartererd accountants who will attend to all your tax affairs and advice all for a fixed fee starting at $395 + GST
Q: Once I add on my year end accounting fees, doesn’t this all become expensive?
A: As you will be presenting fully reconciled quality records to your accountant, this should equate to reduced fees at year end. You’ll be able to use their services for more specialised tax and financial advice instead. You can be confident that the records presented are up to Chartered Accountant standard.
Also when reviewing your costs make sure you’re comparing apples with apples. This service not only prepares and files your GST returns, it allows you to file and store all your receipts digitally. This makes it easy to find receipts as they are all matched against your bank transactions.
Add to this the bonus of not having to code or reconcile your transactions. Some people love doing this and do a great job of doing it…. but there are many who either don’t have the time or the inclination to do so. If you fit into this latter category, then this is the service for you.

Q: What will my accountant think?
A: We hope they will be delighted! You will be presenting them with quality records, and this will free up their time to help you grow your business.
Q: You say there’s no coding or reconciling required. How can that be?
A: It’s true, it really is! You won’t be expected to do any of this. You leave all of this to us. That way we ensure items are correctly coded and reconciled, and that you claim the maximum amount of GST that you are entitled to.
Q: How soon would my records be ready to give to my accountant at year end?
A: We will provide a package for you to present to your tax accountant within 5 days of filing the last GST return for your financial year. Guaranteed!
Q: What if I have some questions? Can I pop in to see you?
A: You can email or call us at any time. However we don’t have an office, and that’s what keeps our prices down. We pass those overhead savings onto you. The good thing about not having an office is you can contact us any time, as we don’t keep traditional accountant office hours.
Q: Who will be preparing my GST returns?
A: Don’t worry, we’ll introduce you to your fully trained bookkeeper or accountant. They just might be sitting in a different part of NZ to you! And rest assured it’s all overseen by Jenine Watson who is a Chartered Accountant.
